It seems that Holliwood decided that I'm already belongs to an old generation, replaced by a new generation of viewers.
It started with a year ago when they studios decided to release Batman Begins. Instead of doing another Batman sequel, they decided simply start from the beginning and make the new Batman the first one again.
It continued with the latest James Bond movie (Casino Royal) that not just introduced a new James Bond actor but also went back in time to deliver us the story of how the legend began.
And now it seems that the same thing is going to happen with the legendry series Start Trek. The trailer is just a teaser, but you can understand that the idea is to go back in time to the point where the Enterprise was first went into space.

I don't think it is simply a matter of Hollywood finding itself with no new stories to tell. I think they simply realized that there is a all new generation of viewers that didn't grow up on these stories. A generation ready to learn from start about Captain Kirk and the tales of James Bond.
Is this generation will be called the Z generation?
