I'm a customer of the Wells Fargo bank in the marina. As an Isreali, every time I go to the bank here, I go out with a complete shock.
The difference between the Israeli bank experience and the one I get from Wells Fargo is something that is hard to describe in words.
While in Israel going to the bank is one of those experiences that you try to avoid as much as possible, when I go out of my bank here I have a smile on my face.
Everyone is so nice, polite, patient and really try their best to help. I'm not talking about private banking and I'm not a premium customer or something.
The employees there simply give you a feeling that they truly want to help you.
Add to that the fact that the online experience and reports of the bank web site is 10 times better than what I got from Leumi bank in Israel, and you get an almost dream like picture of how banking should be...
If I was a manager of an Israeli bank branch, I would have sent all my employees for training here. In a competitive market where the products offered by everyone are almost the same, customer service is what separates the winners from the rest of the pack.
